A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I grabbed mine from Cettire when they had a great deal going on.
I ordered them on April 28th and they were delivered by the 30th, so the shipping was really quick and that’s a win in my book
How much do they cost?
I snagged a pair for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.

How does the sizing run?
I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair.
Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they reduce sweat. Top-quality leather, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in synthetic materials. Bonus, they’re already distressed so your feet just get comfortable fast.
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Yes! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re not cheap, so getting them on sale is smarter. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I went bold with sparkle, but a minimalist version would also be smart.

How is the fit?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36. Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
Is the comfort worth it?
They only needed minimal break-in time.
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched.
